During the 1971 India Pakistan War the airbase in Bhuj was completely destroyed by the Pakistani army which left many injured and caused many deaths in the Indian army.IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik gets information that Pakistani army is eyeing the Bhuj post and plans to capture in next 48 hours Karnik has only option to re build the post but has no technicians.The information reaches late to Karnik as Indian spy Heena Rahman based in Pakistan gets killed,he then takes help of a local daredevil women Sunderban who with another 300 local women and other villagers build the airbase within a day.Karnik also gets timely support from his informer Ranchordas Pagi,A fighter Pilot Vikram and army officer Nair which helps the Indian army land on the airbase much before the attack.
