The lines are sharply defined, accompanied by a significant amount of ringing and aliasing. The flat areas are covered with fine noise, yet this does not obscure the delicate color banding, which becomes evident as wave-like bands in scenes with dramatic changes in brightness. In addition to de-banding and anti-aliasing, we made every effort to minimize the visual impact of ringing.
